Abstract

23 may 2016, took place the III annual scientific videoconference organized by the Department of the History of Anthropological Doctrines, Institute of Philosophy, RAS (Moscow) and Faculty of Social Sciences of Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod, it was discussion about the situation in contemporary philosophy, and acute issues of ideological demarcations were marked.

The conference raised critical questions of philosophical anthropology. Cross-cutting topic was the problem of man’s self destruction in contemporary culture. In the report of the A.N. Fatenkov was valued the European tradition of Enlightenment. It was noted that some statements of the Enlightenment continue to impact negatively on modern philosophy. In particular, Education has replaced the principle of hierarchy by the principle of equality, this has led to the dominance of Eurocentrism in philosophical culture. It was also shown that education contributed to the expansion of sociality, which led to the demolishing of existence. There was concern about the narrowing of secular culture in favor of the sacred. E.M. Spirova tried to open new possibilities of reasonableness, referring to the theme of folly and stupidity.

The analysis of these phenomena showed that the potential of reasonableness is not exhausted and can be realized through the overcoming of unreason. New interpretation of such existenciales as hatred, fantasy, death, power, has greatly expanded the scope of philosophical-anthropological reflection. In the reports of A.M. Feigelman and A.S. Moskovskaya was involved the problem of man in the space of art. Thus, the conference introduced new topics into the space of philosophical anthropology and put a new controversial issues.
